....featuring 'The Layman's Grooming Technique'
Equine MLD may help prevent or may facilitate the healing of other common equine disorders such as:
· Remove excess fluid (Stocking up) = Lymphedema and Cellulitis
· Summer Eczema (Scratches/Mud Fever)

In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the theory of how the Lymphatic System works ~ How horses develop Lymphedema ~ Benefits of MLD, Taping applications etc.
The ‘Hands On’ Segment will be covering “The Laymen’s MLD Grooming Technique” – a simple technique designed to clear the Congested Lymph Channels that anyone can perform on their horse.
You will receive a workbook with all information, diagrams, and techniques covered during the workshop.

EQUINE CRAINIOSACRAL THERAPY ~ The Essentials
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on, whole-body method of releasing restrictions around the brain and spinal cord to enhance central nervous system performance and allow the body to self-correct.
It was developed by an Osteopathic Physician and is hugely popular in Europe and quickly growing in Canada.
CST has a very powerful influence to facilitate the changes necessary for the body to be in balance naturally - it improves neurological function and proprioception.

What we cover:
- Basics of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
- Opening and Closing Meridians
- Bladder Meridian Acupoints - Equine
- Stomach Meridian, Colic and Preventative Colic Acupoints - Equine
- Emergency Acupoints - Equine
- Calming Acupoints - Equine
Acupressure is about the approach, and about balancing energy. TCM can find subtle out-of-balance changes before they develop in more serious issues. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the concepts and theories of Equine Acupressure that you can use at home for preventative horse care; help with chronic issues; or while waiting for the vet in emergency situations.
Lisa includes Acupressure and other Integrative Therapies in her Wesson Natural Therapies business.

EQUINE ESSENTIALS WORKSHOPS VIDEO - How to find Pain, Weaknesses, Trigger Points:

In this hour and 12 minute video, you will learn how to find Weaknesses and Trigger points that are causing Pain and Compensation and what to do to release these points using Osteopathic-type movements, MFR and Acupressure Points. We’ll also cover some Core Activating exercises for the horse to maintain strength, flexibility and balance.
Lisa is a certified Equine Pain Release Points Practitioner and will show you this very effective and quick method for releasing energy blockages and painful areas on the horses.
